From field trips to group outings, we want to share the history of Western N.C. with you! We welcome students of all ages. If you want to schedule a special visit for your group, contact our Historical Interpreter, Brittany B. Joachim at 828-785-9528 or at [email protected].
Please let Brittany know the following:
- Roughly how many students and chaperones are coming.
- Age/Grade level.

Self-guided tours of the museums and cabins are always free, but if your group is larger than 15 people, we would like to schedule a special time for you.
If you would like a special presentation, related to your groups educational goals, we need a four month notice to prepare.
